Guess who has been asked to join the Board of the YMCA locally??!! I know, how unbelieveable is that? Especially considering the General Secretary reads this blog occasionally!
I hope they let me be the Red Indian

Wow he obviously didn't see your Fun Monday blog!!
Hello!
How kind of you to say hello recently.
All good wishes
Mr G
How come you get all the fun? Is the YMCA mixing you up with someone else??
Exceptional! And on some boards you would have to read a patriotic pledge, but you get to sing and dance! With a war headdress and moccassins.
That song is timeless, I am so dancing on the inside.
So what is involved in being on the board of the YMCA?
Yes, Ali, as jewel asked:What is involved in being on the board of the YMCA?
This should be good!!
Ummmm, I don't know just yet. But whatever it is, it can't be too taxing if I'm included!
I know there's sandwiches though, and I've been practicing the dance - just in case ...
I think it IS because of the Rugby Pic Post...I hope they let you be the Indian too...
I think, as a member of the board, they make you do the dance for everyone. It is good exercise.
