It's snowing outside and inside the lights have been flickering for over an hour, my PC has turned itself off three times in the last ten minutes and the streetlight outside my house has now also started to flicker.

oh poor you - hope you have the candles ready? we've just got rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain..did I mention it was raining here in Barking?
The children were very disappointed this morning that
(a) there wasn't the 40cm of snow they had heard was going to fall, and
(b) we weren't having to cook over the gas camping stove
