Hello, the problem is, that my English is not very good. I understand most of what you are writing but I often don't know how to put the words. As I am 55 my English-lessons at school are far away and I have forgotten most of it.
Best greetings from cold Vienna

Brigitte :-)

How lovely to be able to put a name to the visitor.

Can I say first of all that your English is excellent and is MUCH better than my German! Ich muss die 'babelfish' verwenden, um Englisch zum Deutschen zu übersetzen. And it is rubbish!

Secondly, if you can understand most of what I write, you understand a lot more than some of the English-speakers who visit my blog!!

Vienna is a beautiful city, I was there four years ago for the Christmas Markets. But so cold...

Thankyou for saying 'hello'. Please do not feel nervous about leaving more comments in future, I would love to hear your thoughts. I would also love to hear how you found my blog!

Happy New Year!
It's very cold in Vienna but no snow and no clouds - there will be lots of fireworks on the hills and in the suburbs - so nice to watch!
Greetings from Vienna

Brigitte, what a pretty name! Don't worry, I'm American and you know we butcher the English language on a regular basis...

I think it's so cool Ali to meet people from everywhere and to learn that you have gone so many places and look at you sprecken de Deutschen!
