Just in case any of you didn't believe me about the amount of rain we have been having this summer ... watch this clip to see the effect of Saturday's rain alone!
Apparently there were at least six cars trapped in this underpass, and police divers had to go in to ensure it was only cars and not their occupants.
And guess what ... it's raining again today ... and theres more forecast for tomorrow ... and the next day ...

and here I was thinking it was going to be that silly email that is going around again.
Crowds panic as flooding threatens.
I read the text before I got to the pic and was thinking oh those poor cute irish people.
Incidentally, I don't think you should be out dancing naked in that water.
Oh Ali, I hope you don't have any flooding in your home.
I'm so shallow and uncaring...the whole time I'm watching the video I'm thinking of how much I love the Irish accent (and trying to translate) and envying the fact that everyone is wearing jackets.
Seriously though, I do hope it lets up soon for you.
Jewel, you're right about the water .. too great a typhoid risk!
Dana, hope you were able to translate, and how ON EARTH can you be jealous of us wearing jackets, you mad woman!
Thankfully, we live on top of a hill and so managed to keep dry, although a little trickle at the bottom of our garden turned into a raging torrent, but that we can cope with!
I saw it on the news and couldn't believe my eyes...good to read that you and yours are alright - thank you for your comment on my blog your work sounded interesting but I'm sure also emtionally draining. I was thinking about all the folk leaving Georgia and the anxiety that they arer facing.
Hey, thanks for stopping by. Been there with the rain, although it's calmed down over the last month. That's some crazy, weird stuff; it's changed the face of everything around here. Try to stay dry.
Hmmm, I'm away on holiday at the moment. I wonder what it's been like in Dublin? Our house is liable to flooding!
Dana, do you know any Native American anti-rain dances? We could really use them here!
